Ingredient Needed For Cooking Githeri
In order to get the dish ready the following ingredents are require:
1½ cup of beans
1 Cup of soft green maize
4 Pieces of potatoes
A bunch of sukuma wiki
1 Piece Onion
1 Piece capsicum
4 garlic cloves
1piece coriander
2 pieces tomatoes
2 pieces carrots
Cooking oil
Salt
Method of cooking githeri
1.Wash the beans and maize then boil until they are cooked.
2. Peel the potatoes wash and cut then into block shape.
3. Finely chop the onions, coriander and crash the garlic.
4 .Pour out oil in the cooking pan and heat it.
5. Sauté onion and garlic till golden brown.
6. Add the coriander, tomatoes and capsicum stir fry together let them cook.
7. Add the cut sukuma wiki cook for 3mininutes.
8. Add the diced carrots and the potatoes and some vegetable stock.
9. Incoporate the beans and maize mixer simmer till the potatoes are cooked.
10. Adjust the season, sprinkle chopped coriander and serve hot.
